Use the locker plan
Decide which books remain in a locker and which come home. A list of every subject creates unnecessary weight. Pack by tomorrow’s classes and any homework that must travel.
Bring home the right work
Check the next day’s assignments before leaving school. A packed morning bag is not enough if the homework folder stayed in the locker.
Keep this in your child’s bag list
Give a bag for a changing timetable its own Carrylist list. Use routines for recurring gear and a one-off item for a dated extra.
