Check tomorrow, not yesterday
Read tomorrow’s timetable and the latest school message. A weekly bag list needs a place for one-off forms and equipment. Leave supplies that stay in the classroom off the daily packing list.
Leave the last items visible
Pack books and dry gear tonight. Leave food and anything still in use on a short morning list. Check closures and bottle lids before putting the bag by the door.
After school
Take out food containers, wet clothes, and new letters. Return reusable items to their usual place. This makes the next packing check about tomorrow’s needs.
Keep this in your child’s bag list
