Use the current music
Check the piece assigned this week. Leave old sheets at home unless the teacher asks for them. Do not mark an instrument packed before checking its separate accessories.
Bring the new assignment home
Put the teacher’s notes with the current music after the lesson. Check the case pockets so a small accessory is ready for practice.
Keep this in your child’s bag list
Give the music lesson bag its own Carrylist list. Use routines for recurring gear and a one-off item for a dated extra.
