Check equipment ownership
Ask whether the club supplies sets and clocks. For a tournament, confirm the organizer’s rules rather than assuming normal club equipment is enough.
Check a complete set
If your child brought a set, count the pieces before leaving. Keep score sheets or the next tournament note together instead of loose in the school bag.
Keep this in your child’s bag list
