Distinguish practice and match kit
A match may need a specific jersey and earlier arrival. Keep those as date-specific additions rather than packing them for every practice.
Check the small items
Knee pads and hair ties are easy to leave in a changing room. Count them with the shoes before putting used clothing into the wash.
Keep this in your child’s bag list
