Claim a bag with “I’ll handle it”. The other adult sees who is handling it. Packed items show the adult who checked them off. Household shows the latest 25 activity entries.
One household subscription
The owner pays for a monthly or yearly plan. The invited adult does not need a separate subscription. Solo use has no limit on children, bags, items, or routines.
Check sync before relying on an update
Local changes work offline. The other adult sees them after iCloud sync. Check the sync status when either phone has been offline. The app records what adults enter and cannot check the physical bag.

Keep the same packing record on both phones, with a name against each update.
