Keep restocking separate from packing

A restock list covers buying, replacing, or cleaning. A packing list records what must physically go in the next bag.

Track the restock task separately

List equipment that is unavailable.
Choose who will buy, replace, or clean it.
Keep that task separate from the packing tick.
Put the ready item in its usual place.
Check it packed only after putting it in the bag.
