Ask what the camp supplies
Confirm bedding, equipment, storage, and labeling before packing bulky items. Follow staff instructions for restricted items and any items requiring an adult handover.
Use a return count
Give reusable gear a return list. Count sleeping gear, towels, and clothing after camp so a missing item does not appear as packed on the next trip.
Keep this in your child’s bag list
Give the overnight camp bag its own Carrylist list. Use routines for recurring gear and a one-off item for a dated extra.
