Check what is worn and what is carried
A coat worn to school is different from boots that must travel in the bag. List only the carried items as packing tasks and confirm any storage at school.
Dry the return items
Remove wet gear before the next day. Keep dry books and lunch containers out of the same compartment as damp footwear.
Keep this in your child’s bag list
Give the wet-weather school kit its own Carrylist list. Use routines for recurring gear and a one-off item for a dated extra.
