Agree the supplies first
A duplicated bag can be unnecessary if essentials already stay at the grandparents’ home. Keep any handover note factual and confirm the day’s pickup arrangement separately.
Check what stays there
Distinguish intentionally stored supplies from belongings that should return. Update the list when a spare outfit no longer fits or an activity changes.
