Tell the other adult you have the bag

Claim a bag with I’ll handle it so the other adult sees who is handling it. Claiming does not check off its contents.

Claim the correct child’s bag

Open Today or Tonight in the shared household.
Find the child and destination.
Use I’ll handle it when nobody has claimed the bag.
Use Take over if you are taking it from the other adult.
Check off the actual items separately and check sync when needed.

A claim is not a completed bag

Items can remain missing in a claimed bag. Check the physical contents and confirm departure only when the bag leaves.
